Present was the guest speaker, district schools inspector, Mr Ronald Muganhu, who was representing the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, and Central Zimbabwe Conference (CZC) Officers and Directors, community/traditional leaders and other school headmasters. Mr Muganhu commended the community and school leadership for being visionary and for attaining the best academic results in the area, hence “Reaching greater heights” as the school motto says. Pastor Rukuni the CZC President told the community that the mission is not only to start the project but to finish it, hence unity of purpose and commitment is very important to achieve this.

The construction of a boarding facility will;
1. Improve the quality of education;
2. Create employment opportunities;
3. Reduce chances of students abuse as they travel;
4. Develop the standard of living for the community;
5. Create a market for local industries

The community pledged their commitment and promised to work tirelessly until the project is completed. The Central Zimbabwe Conference donated 35000 bricks, 400bags of cement and ZWL$15 000.00 to kick start the project.
